Description: The popular One-Hand Breast Pump provides
moms with a manual breast pump which allows individual control, convenience,
and portability. The pump is packaged in a sporty teal lunch tote that
can be used to store the pump and transport breast milk.
This ergonomic and compact manual pump earned the High Design-Innovation
Quality from Design Zentum Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany. It fits inside
your purse or tote. Pump directly into any standard baby bottle or freezer
bag. It’s easy-to-use and allows you to vary the frequency and
degree of the handle squeeze for more effective pumping. The handle
assembly eliminates the need for electrical outlets or batteries, and
the one-hand design allows you to pump one breast while baby nurses
on the other. By using two breast pumps, you may dual-pump to save precious
time. Both of these methods stimulate the let-down reflex and enhance
milk flow.
Features:
• No need for batteries or an electrical outlet
• Pump one breast while your baby nurses on the other
• Use two manual pumps to save time
Reviews:
I am a work at home mom and do not require a heavy duty electric breast
pump. However, there are times when I need to leave my baby at home
during a feeding. This is an excellent quality manual pump for the mom
who only needs to pump occasionally. It is easy to use and clean. It
is compact and lightweight so it stores easily with minimal space requirements.
I found it simple to assemble and use. I have used the Medela manual
pump but it is a bit difficult to assemble and if you only use it once
in a while, it is easy to forget how it all goes together. This is simple!
The suction is good, of course you control how fast or slow to operate
it. - K. Hamel
I'm a stay at home mom, but there are times when I leave my infant
in the care of daddy. I chose the Ameda One-Hand Breast Pump b/c I wanted
something easy to use and clean. Not much has been reviewed on this
pump, so I took my chances. Unlike other manual pumps I have read about,
the Ameda is not painful to use, esp. if you use it w/ the flexishield.
I can pump 4 oz in 15-20 min if I am full and if my baby has been feeding
on one breast (this enables the let-down process a lot faster!). The
squeezing action really depends on your own muscle strength, but not
too much squeezing is necessary. I recommend this for occasional use.
In general, I think one has to get used to any pump. Hence, for the
price, Ameda is a good choice. - Karol M.
