Breast feeding pumps are the modern day solution to time consuming breast feeding. In today's busy world many mother's work at the office, run the home and take care of the children. Electric breast feeding pumps allow you to pump while your hands are free to do other things. This is great for at the office so you can work on the computer or answer the phone. Electric pumps also have adjustable speed and suction settings to mimic the babies feeding pattern. Since a woman's body is use to the feeding suction of their baby, being able to adjust the levels allows the mother's milk to come in faster.

They are discreet and conveniently pack up all of the supplies such as bottles, freezer bags, car adapter, breast pads, etc. These all inclusive breast feeding pump kits can be expensive. Manual breast feeding pumps are generally a little gentler than electric pumps and are pumped by hand. Manual pumps are cheaper than electric pumps and don't run the risk of breaking as easily since they have no electrical components. Using a breast feeding pump allows a mother to pump several feedings at once. The milk can be frozen is special sanitary plastic bags designed specifically for breast milk. When the baby needs to be fed simply grab a milk bag from the freezer and allow to defrost in a bowl of warm water for about 15 minutes. Then pour it into a bottle. Having frozen breast milk is always a good idea whether you use it when you don't have time to breast feed or if your caretaker uses it to feed the baby while you're at work.
